When you get right down to it, you really don't need more than a wallet, a cellphone, keys, a pen and pad, and maybe a tube of lipstick or sanitizer. Anything else is clutter.

Routines: Have a daily habit of organizing your bag. Every evening after supper, throw away or organize receipts. Toss away junk out of the bag and put any excess clutter you've acquired away into your house where it belongs.

Streamline: Once you get overwhelmed with the clutter and excess weight of your bag, consider downsizing. A smaller bag limits the amount that you can carry and will improve your posture and relieve fatigue. A more compact bag helps to reduce tension and anxiety within your shoulders, freeing you up to focus on your projects.
