Heather drank on a usual basis with her drinking friends. One Tuesday after all of her classes were finished, she began reflecting on the amount of alcohol she consumed and the irresponsible drinking of her buddies. And then if we have any nagging issues that we cannot understand after we finish our web research, we can go to the student health center at the college and ask Nurse Urbanic to explain things to us.
It should not come as a complete shock that what Heather mentioned would result in a heated discussion. For example, her best friend since her freshman year in high school, Yasmin, articulated that they are too young and too healthy to be worried about abusive and careless drinking. Another drinking pal named Aaron thought that since most teenagers drink there is no rational reason why they should be any different. Another drinking pal named Alisa stated that all she wants to do is to have fun drinking with her buddies. And still another classmate named Theodore in fact agreed with Heather basically because both of his parents abused alcohol and both of his parents had a history of alcohol related issues.
Heather openly mentioned to her classmates that she comprehended everything that they had said but that getting involved in abusive and unhealthy drinking at such a susceptible age truly cannot be very healthy or conducive toward establishing a meaningful life. Undeniably some of her buddies became more open and started to describe how these alcohol addiction and alcohol abuse effects had negatively affected some of their friends and their parents.
After articulating some of the alcoholism and alcohol abuse problems that are related to careless and excessive drinking, most of her drinking friends seemed to agree to the idea about getting information on the web. They were, however, nervous about discussing their drinking situations with the administrators at school. As Heather heard this she thought to herself, "at least they are open to finding out more about their careless and excessive drinking. This is a wonderful start."
