After the shave was the hot towel that every time felt so good.
The men would principally argue about baseball or politics, though the matter of women would come up a great deal. It was a time to be at ease and get to know each of us a bit better. Now, when you get a haircut the chatting is kept to a minimum and you commonly try to get out as soon as you can.
As I stroll by the local barber shop and spot the sign indicating barber chairs for sale, I question why this custom has mostly vanished from our civilization.
